According to the West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation Bylaws, “Each individual member or entity member shall be entitled to one (1) vote and no more upon each matter submitted to a vote at a meeting of the members. Anyone voting on behalf of an entity member must present evidence as requested by the Cooperative that authorizes them to vote on behalf of the entity member.”
To designate a voting delegate, please sign, date and complete the form below and return it to West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, PO Box 589, Mayfield, KY, 42066, or to one of our office locations. The designation of the Voting Delegate must be on file prior to the meeting. At the meeting of the members, the designated Voting Delegate must proceed to the Voting Delegate registration station. At the registration station, the delegate’s designation will be reviewed and the delegate will receive the official ballot. The delegate must bring proper identification to the meeting of the members and present it in order to receive a ballot.
Please note, any candidate in a board election cannot be named as the voting delegate for an entity unless said candidate is the owner or agent of the entity. Proxy voting is prohibited.
